Lex Scott Davis Talks Filming ‘Suits: L.A.’ First Episode

The Suits reboot we all saw coming a mile away is really actually happening, and will begin filming next month in April 2024. 

There’s still no word on whether or not Meghan Markle will return to the popular streaming series, but actress Lex Scott Davis has joined the cast and shared exciting news.

Suits Spoilers – LA Prepares To Start Filming

When NBC announced they were working on a Suits reboot at the end of last year, we didn’t expect to see them moving this quickly. 

Not only have they already written the pilot episode and began casting some major star power, but the series is going to begin filming next month!

Lex Scott Davis was tapped to play the part of Erica Rollins.  The character is described in casting calls as “a savvy and strong-willed rising star who works for Ted Black.” 

You may recognize Davis from some of her other television roles in Training Day, The L Word: Generation Q, All Rise, and The Now.  She also just finished filming the highly anticipated movie Ricky Stanicky.

Lex Scott – Davis Dishes On Suits LA

Davis is over the moon about being cast in Suits: LA and confirmed she would begin filming the pilot in a few weeks. 

Of course, the new legal drama hasn’t been picked up for a series order yet, but they shouldn’t have any problem with that considering Suits’ wild streaming success of Netflix.

The actress dished to People Magazine about her upcoming role and raved, “It’s something I prayed for, it’s something I manifested.  And although it’s very much a pinch-me moment, it’s also a moment of giving myself a pat on the back.” 

Scott Davis added, “I am proud. I’m able to stand here proudly and say I’m excited that I am filling such big shoes.  But I do know and I’m confident that I can handle it well, and I’ll be able to carry the torch well and make, hopefully make the original cast proud.”
