Ami Brown: Alaskan Bush People Fans Diss Her New Romance

Alaskan Bush People (ABP) star Ami Brown lost her late husband Billy almost exactly five years ago, but she found someone to love again.

And oh wow, Discovery Channel fans dissed her so badly, anyone would think she was slipping out at night to cheat on Billy. Read on for more.

Ami Launched Her New Guy

In the later weeks of January this year, Ami took to her Instagram and shared a photo of a man she calls DJ.

At the time, a lot of people argued about whether she’d married someone else after the 68-year-old husband passed away from a heart related seizure.

Why did ABP fans argue? Actually, while she called DJ her “husband,” some folks were not convinced she didn’t talk about Billy.

That’s because there was what looked like an orb reflected from her son-in-law, Josiah Lorton. In the pic, he stood close to his wife, Rain Brown, and DJ stood with his arm around Ami.

Arguing In The Comments

Some Alaskan Bush People fans decided that the orb could be her interpretation of Billy still being with Ami. In other words, they hoped Billy appeared as an orb and DJ was just a friend. 

Meanwhile, others argued about grammar and the placement of commas. After all, Ami Brown had written in her caption, “Rain, Josiah, my husband, DJ and I.”

However, a few folks sent in congrats, assuming they tied the knot. Additionally, some people zoomed in and thought they saw wedding or friendship rings.

A New Photo

Since then, several more photos arrived of DJ and the Discovery Channel alum called DJ her “love.” Again, the heavily bearded man stood close to Ami.

Once again, some folks dissed Ami Brown. This time, a commenter wrote, “Rest in paradise Billy you will never be forgotten except by your wife.”

Tons of Dissing

On the weekend of February 21,  Ami shared the news that Rain Brown is pregnant. But a day before that, she shared another photo of herself with DJ. But this time, they sat on the ground and kissed.

Her caption read. “D.J., and I, on a cold winter day!” And that’s when her comments section erupted.

Fans React To The Kisses

In the comments section of the post, a lot of Alaskan Bush People fans sent in rather nasty reactions. Clearly, some of the comments seemed to come from very young folks.

Some of them seemed to believe that physical love for anyone over 30 seems disgusting. But others, surprisingly, seemed to be in their late 30s.

One of them penned, “So much for poor Billy!”

• Billy was the Best man, he disrrve more respect.
• Nah.. I miss billy. He was the only normal one.
• Wait what.. nooooooo.
• He really loved his wife! And now his wife is with someone else, she should have waited more!!!

No Textbook On Mourning Periods

Fortunately, some other people seemed happy that Ami Brown found love. And, some of them talked about how five years is a long time to wait to feel happy again.

After all, she’s still alive and maybe she deserves some happiness. Anyway, how long should she have waited? There’s no textbook to say when you should move on from your loss.
