‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Amy Slaton Pleads Not Guilty In Court – Video

1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton had a bad week after taking the kids to a Tennessee zoo/safari park. Firstly, she claimed she was bitten by a camel, and then she ended up arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs.

And, she was detained for the alleged endangerment of her children, Gage and Glenn. On Thursday, she appeared in court and pleaded not guilty. 

Amy Slaton Started The Day With A Camel Bite?

The owner of the park claimed that he didn’t see any video footage of the alleged camel bite. Plus, he said that he doubted it was a bite by a camel because of the type of injury. Thirdly, he didn’t believe the incident happened because the TLC star couldn’t tell him where it actually happened. 

Amy Slaton’s lawyer made it clear that he believed his client was bitten by the animal, but that wasn’t why they were in court on Thursday. The 1000-Lb Sisters star had left jail along with Brian Scott Lovvorn after posting bail, and they both appeared in court a few days later.

WBBJ News covered the court case in the “Crockett County General Sessions Court,” and the TLC star who had previously said she felt sorry for what had happened pleaded not guilty. Also in court was the man she had been with at the park, named Brian Scott Lovvorn.

While Amy Slaton was in court, the news outlet added that Amanda Halterman, her sister had arrived to support her. But apparently, she couldn’t see her so she was upset. A preliminary date was set for the hearing as the alleged crimes are felonies. 

In the comments section of the news report on YouTube, TLC fans vented about the incident. Here are some of their reactions:

• Since Amy’s divorce she is just a mess, hopping from man to man, doing drugs. GEEZ GET IT TOGETHER BEFORE YOU LOSE YOUR KIDS.

• Shes.gonna try and blame her man of the day for all of it. She’s just as guilty as he is . Bringing that crap around your kids really bad parenting plan.
• Amy should be ashamed of herself honestly she needs to do prison time for this s***.
• She’s claiming not guilty, well I guess it was the camel that was smoking the cannabis and that had a pocket full of drugs on it.

For now, the TLC star is presumed innocent until proven guilty, but 1000-Lb Sisters fans will roast her anyway.
