Andy Cohen Celebrates 19 Years Of Real Housewives of Orange County

Andy Cohen, who hosts the Housewives franchise, is celebrating nineteen years of The Real Housewives of Orange County. On social media, he shared a throwback photo of himself and thanked the cast for all their shenanigans.

The Host Has Something To Celebrate

It hasn’t always been an easy ride for Andy who deals with a lot of drama across the franchise. But, he survived and even got past the lawsuit drama with Brandi Glanville. Remember, she accused him of wanting to sleep with another cast member and then inviting her to watch on Facetime. 

On March 21, the Bravo host wasn’t dwelling on any of the various accusations against him. Instead, he’s celebrating RHOC. On Instagram, he posted a photo of himself looking very young in his white shirt against a red background. 

“On this day 19 years ago, The Real Housewives of Orange County premiered – making an indelible impact on pop culture… and my life,” the dad of two cute kids said. Grateful for the show, he added, “This was me then. What a ride! Thank you Vicki, Lauri, Jeana, Kim & Jo – the OG’s, and Scott Dunlop who delivered us gold!”

Fans React In The Comments Section

Plenty of viewers took to the comments section, and like Andy Cohen, many of them were much younger all those years ago. One of them wrote, “And 11 year old me was a changed man from that day forth!”

Others also got into the spirit of the banter. Here’s another lighthearted observation: “Wow sure doesn’t feel that long ago lol.”

Several cast members from the franchise arrived in the chat, and Margaret Josephs put up a clapping hands emoji. Next, Jared Alexander wrote, “I love U.S. History!” That won him a lot of comments. Agreeing, one follower replied, saying, “The only kind of U.S. history I care about.”

The OGs

Many people were happy that Andy Cohen mentioned the OGs. And, there were lots of people seen on the show over the years. Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Alexis Bellino, and Meghan King come to mind. Then, fans will remember people like Braunwyn Windham-Burke who came and went. 

Of course, the show wouldn’t have been the same with the Tres Amigas, Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, and Vicki Gunvalson. Remember, Kelly Dodd tried to split them up and failed in 2020, per Distractify. Anyway, their influence waned after they had a bust-up between Tamra and Shannon.
