Annie Suwan, a longtime favorite from 90 Day Fiancé, has called on fans to pray for her baby, Minthira. She and David Toborowsky successfully welcomed their child in March, but now she’s ill and on oxygen. Read on for more details.
What Is Wrong With Minthira?
Minthira was born in Thailand, Annie’s home country, and so far, she seemed to be doing well: at least well enough for David to focus on his work and income. But now, she’s unwell. On Thursday this week, Annie posted a photo on Instagram that alarmed her many TLC fans.
In it, Minthira was held on Annie Suwan’s lap, and alarmingly, her mom held an oxygen mask over her baby’s face. In her caption, she wrote, “Can we ask for your prayers for Minthira please. She got RSV and is now admitted at the hospital, and it is going to be the worst 5 days of my life.” Additionally, she added a long row of crying emojis.

TLC fans adore Annie and David, and they quickly grew to love Minthira, who is meeting all her milestones. What Is RSV?
According to the CDC, RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a widespread respiratory infection that typically produces cold-like symptoms in most patients. However, vulnerable populations including newborns, toddlers, seniors, and immunocompromised individuals may develop severe complications from the virus.

The fact that it looks like the hospital stay will be five days might point to doctors being concerned because Minthira is only four months old. There is no cure for RSV, but in the hospital, medical professionals can help by hydrating the child, providing oxygen, and prescribing bronchodilator medications. Plus, they might be able to administer medication to help control a fever.
