Below Deck fans know Captain Kerry Titheradge from Adventure and from Season 11 after Captain Lee left the franchise. But beyond the ocean, the captain advocates for “GTS Husky Rescue.” Recently, he urged his followers to help out as well.
The Captain With A Husky Passion
In a recent Instagram post, the Below Deck star shared his passion for beautiful dogs. He hoped that his fans would be inspired to support the nonprofit dedicated to “rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming” huskies in need.

“Gday everyone! As many of you know, my heart has always been drawn to our furry friends,” Captain Kerry wrote in his post. Then, he channeled a lot of that Below Deck energy into describing his passion for helping pups.“Together, we can make a difference!” he told his Bravo fans.
Urging Fans To Participate
Sharing a photo of himself at some outdoor event, Captain Kerry Titheradge said, “I’m passionate about raising awareness for GTS Husky Rescue. These amazing pups deserve a second chance at life.” In his reel, he mentioned that he “tries to foster” when he can. Actually, his social media is peppered with pics of the pups with him and his girlfriend, Ghönül Bihan.

Captain Kerry Titheradge outlined actionable ways for his followers to get involved. He encouraged fans to share his post about the GTS Husky Rescue’s mission, volunteer their time, and more. People don’t need to adopt and can “donate” to cover essentials like “food” and “medical care.”
Obviously, it would be nice if Bravo fans could offer a Husky a “forever home,” though.
Fans React In The Comments
Captain Kerry’s popular with fans, so he gets a lot of reach on social media. And, they liked his call for support. Here are some reactions from the discussion that followed:
- Such a humanitarian you are for ‘ fostering awareness’. Wow. All your efforts. And so humble and dedicated! They need to clone you, Kerry!!! . Hehehe … For real.
- I love husky. They’re so vocal .
- I have fostered several times myself, both canine and kids ❤️.
Hopefully, lots of people will share the post. On the GTS Husky Rescue website, GTS started saving dogs “in March of 2014.” However, the “coronavirus” meant the loss of “the ranch.” So, they need help more than ever to rehome dogs. The small not-for-profit saved more than “400 dogs’ lives” by 2022.
On the show, fans often see that Captain Kerry seems a strict but kind person with a warm heart. His support of innocent dogs needing help reflects that impression gained through the reality TV show.
