Below Deck Down Under spoilers reveal that Captain Jason Chambers fired two crew members. And the Below Deck Down Under star did so after both crossed the line.
But shocked fans reacted by questioning why Bravo didn’t label the sexual harassment episode with a trigger warning.
Find out why Captain Jason terminated two members of his Below Deck Down Under season 2 crew. And learn why fans applauded both Jason and his chief stew Aesha Scott. Get all the details below.
Below Deck Spoilers – Luke ‘Crosses The Line’
Bosun Luke Jones went from enjoying a night out with the rest of the Below Deck Down Under crew to getting fired.
However, Below Deck Down Under revealed that many of the crew seemed to drink too much. For instance, third stew Margot Sisson admitted that she felt “really drunk,” noted People.
And when the crew returned to the boat, chief stew Aesha Scott expressed concerned for Margot. However, Luke urged Margot to “come and cuddle with me.” But Margot shared that she just wanted to go to sleep.
And Aesha went with Margot to her cabin. “I just saw the way that Luke was looking at you, and I’m feeling very protective,” Aesha admitted.
And Margot shared, “I want to go to bed. All I want is water and bed, no Luke.” However, Luke then undressed and climbed into Margot’s bed as she slept, crossing the line.
Below Deck Spoilers – Captain Jason Creates ‘Safety’ Zones
As a result of Luke’s seeming assault on Margot, producers took action. And they told Luke that he needed to leave.
However, Luke swore, trying to close the door against producers. “We can’t do that, she said no, she said no,” the producers repeatedly told Luke as they sought to protect Margot.
And Aesha got tearful in waking up Captain Jason to tell him what happened. The captain acted promptly, telling Luke, “You need to go, you need to get off the boat tonight. We’re gonna put you in a hotel for the night. We’ll talk about it tomorrow.”
Captain Jason subsequently fired Luke. And he told the rest of the Below Deck Down Under crew, “We had an incident last night.
And I want to stress that this is a place that we respect each other. Our cabin is our safety zone. That door is our boundary, that door is not to be opened unless it’s consensual.
To walk into into someone else’s room without consent, indecent, is my limit.”

Below Deck Spoilers – Laura Guilty Of Sexual Harassment?
However, stew Laura then claimed that she felt sorry for Luke. And she even blamed Margot for what happened.
“I think he just meant it as a joke,” insisted Laura. But when Margot informed Aesha, the chief stew talked to Captain Jason about Laura’s “inappropriate” remarks.
And she also expressed concern about how Laura got involved in “inappropriate, borderline sexual harassment” toward crew member Adam.
Captain Jason then talked with Laura. And he pointed out that Adam repeatedly tried to say “no” to Laura. But the stew failed to listen to Adam and his boundaries.
“After my multiple speeches with the crew about boundaries, about respect, did you not go to Margot and say, ‘Poor Luke, I wish he would come in and see me’?”
And Captain Jason described Laura as showing no respect to Margot while ignoring Adam’s boundaries. “You’ve disrespected exactly what I set out to do,” he noted.
“For you to go to Margot and say that shows you did not listen to a word I said about boundaries. And it showed little respect and empathy to Margot.
I’m trying to move forward as a team, I’m trying to get that behind us and you’ve brought it straight back up, so in that I’m going to terminate your employment today.”
