Jason Chambers Diagnosed With Melanoma
The Below Deck Down Under captain is considered the hunk of the sea, and in Season 3 of the show, fans will see his all-female clients drooling over him. But that suntanned lifestyle comes with a huge risk. A few days ago, the Bravo star revealed that he was diagnosed with melanoma.
The news that he will have an anxious wait for the biopsy results arrived on social media when the Bravo star announced the melanoma diagnosis. Captain Jason Chambers admitted that he never worried about the sun too much. After all, he grew up under the sun and felt used to it.
The Anxious Biopsy Wait For Jason Chambers
When the Below Deck Down Under captain announced his cancer scare, he told his Bravo fans that he’d gotten the “biopsy” done in “Bali.” Initially, he didn’t think too much about the spot on his skin. But within “six months” it “turned.”
Jason Chambers who had returned to Australia added on Instagram:
I now have an anxious wait…The Australian doctors…weren’t happy with what the indications told..[which is for] them to go to …stage two which would be to cut out a bigger section and test the glands.
Below Deck Star Gives Advice
Those Bravo fans who follow the captain know that he often promotes products on his social media. But this time, it seems close to home. So, he told his followers, “Find a chemical free sunscreen product, get some shade with a hat, and enjoy the sun with protection.”
Christmas will pass before Jason Chambers finds out the result of his biopsy. While it’s an anxious time, the Bravo star will enjoy a vacation with his family. In the comments section, Captain Sandy Yawn reached out to her Below Deck colleague, saying, “Praying for good results.”
