‘Below ‘Deck Sailing’ Daisy Loses Fans, Will Cloyce Last?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 brought back Daisy Kelliher as Chief Stew, and introduced a new Chef, Cloyce Martin. Well, it seems that Daisy is losing some popularity, and already, Bravo fans predict that Cloyce won’t last the season. Read on to find out why. 

Captain Glen Shephard Is Back At The Helm

The Bravo show was delayed for a long time, and fans started thinking it would never return. However, it did, and even Gary King, accused of behaving inappropriately with a production member, returned for Season 5. Captain Glen Shephard is at the helm, and he’s not taking much nonsense from his crew.

New cast members joining Glen, Gary, and Daisy Kelliher include Chef Cloyce Martin, Stew Danni Warren, Stew Diana Cruz, and David Morosi, the Parsifal III’s chief engineer. New deckhands include Keith Allen and Emma Crouch. But after the first episode of Below Deck Sailing, chatter on social media was mostly about Daisy and Cloyce.

Below Deck Sailing Fans Are Down On Daisy Kelliher

Daisy was a fan favorite, but the Bravo star made some bad decisions and got herself involved in a love triangle. Much drama came in Season 4. But, she returned to Season 5 ready to do her job well.

However, in the new season of Below Deck Sailing, Daisy Kelliher already annoyed fans by whining to Gary King, previously in her love triangle with Collin. Plus, she made things difficult for the new Chef, Cloyce. So, fans are getting a downer about her. 

Cloyce & Daisy Are Discussed By Bravo Fans

On Reddit, in the discussion about Episode 1 of Season 5 on Bravo it became evident that fans are not impressed with Daisy Kelliher. Legitimate_Candy7250 started by slamming the Chief Stew. The Below Deck Sailing fan wrote:

Daisy is so annoying! I can’t stand her this season so far and winning(sic) to Gary about being alone after her breakup. Yes Gary is gross but Daisy has an inflated ego of herself. This all seems so fake. They are both annoying.

Other critics also slammed her performance so far. Here are some of their comments, and some of them think Cloyce is heading for the exit because of Daisy’s inefficiency:

• Anyone else getting “Hannah’s last season” vibes out of Daisy? I’m surprised she even returned this season. She just seems straight up miserable and is already letting personal stuff get in the way of the job on day 1.
• It’s a tiny galley and [Cloyce’s] first meal to make on a boat he hasn’t worked on, and he caught the preferences in advance to arrange substitutions.
• Daisy is the one in the wrong for allowing the others to order instead of shutting it down.
• Calling it now. Cloyce doesn’t make it through the season. Glenn’s observation about him and Daisy not working well together is foreshadowing.
• While the first night dinner orders got out of hand, Daisy messed up in terms of how she approached the guests about it.
