Below Deck

As she read the fan speculation that she would quit Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Kelliher called it “interesting.” But she pointed out her theory on the rumors. And the chief stew thinks that viewers felt shocked to see her cry over the constant pressure on the boat.

“I think that’s interesting when I see that,” noted Daisy about the speculation. And she added, “I think people are just so shocked when they see me cry. Even the crew were like, ‘Oh, my God, what the hell is going on?’ I am not a robot, I have feelings, I have emotions. I’m actually quite an emotional person, I’m just good at hiding it from work.”

And Daisy also pointed out that her recent tears marked “the first time I’ve cried during Below Deck. It’s my job and I’ve been doing this for 10 years, I don’t walk away because I have one little breakdown. I would have walked away a long time ago if that was the case,” she added.

However, fans looking for reassurance that Daisy will return for season five of Below Deck Sailing Yacht didn’t get it. And the chief stew explained that she doesn’t know enough to confirm her future on the show. “But yachting is, for sure, not out of the picture. And definitely being on another season is not out of the picture,” added Daisy.

But the current season has resulted in several challenges for Daisy. For instance, the chief stew needed to manage requests from guests while training her newbie crew. And with Captain Glenn Shephard trying to get her to make changes she didn’t like, Daisy clearly felt pressured.

Below Deck Spoilers – A Love Triangle Sparks Stress

But Daisy also admitted that the love triangle involving Gary and Colin caused unexpected stress. “The little triangle between Gary, me and Colin was a big stress factor, I think for all of us. There’s just a lot of stress to be honest,” noted Daisy. And she shared that getting her work criticized made her temper flare. “I have warned people [that], as I get older, I do have a trigger point. I’m human and I’m just like everybody else,” pointed out Daisy.

And the Below Deck chief stew complained that she has become the “butt” of every joke.  But she added, “And that’s fine, I’ll take it if everyone needs that. I think people see me as being able to handle it, which a lot of the time I can. But when I’m tired or I feel like I’ve upset someone, or I’m not doing a good job, or I hear the same thing over and over again, of course, that’s going to build up.”

As a result of that stress, Daisy sometimes feel as if she could “crack.” But the chief stew also took time to throw some shade at Gary. And she complained about Gary “calling me unprofessional when his hair is all over the place and his shirt isn’t tucked in,” slammed Daisy.
