Braunwyn Windham-Burke added a lot of flavor to Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), and Bravo fans first met her back in Season 14.
She didn’t stay long, departing after just two seasons. Now, she’s talking about skin cancer, her advocacy might be one of the best things she ever managed to do.
Sharing For Two Weeks
Over the last two weeks, pinned Instagram posts by Braunwyn Windham-Burke show that she’s busy sharing about her current treatment. If you don’t know, when she was much younger, the Bravo star struggled with skin cancer. Caught early enough, it can respond very well, and in her case it was radiation that did the trick.
These days, times have changed and instead of surgery, she’s been using a chemo cream for a month. They are available, and you need to apply them regularly.

Does it work? Well, it’s one of those treatments you can do at home, which is probably preferable to surgery. Notably, it’s best to consult a professional first. But, it does look a whole lot worse before it starts looking any better.
Open About Her Cancer
Sometimes it’s followed by another topical ointment that can be rubbed in, but that’s not so much chemo as an immunotherapy.
Right now though, some raw pics show the ugly stage. But, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum isn’t hiding away. After noticing two spots, one on her nose, and another on her forehead, it looks like she’s applied it all over her face.

When Braunwyn posted at start of her new journey, in that post she said:
After a recent dermatologist appointment I learned that all the years laying out have caused numerous skin cancers on my face , so I’m going on a 30 day chemo cream journey to help heal all the damage from my youth!!
An update by the RHOC alum showed many dark marks on her face. By day 12, the damage from those days in the sun really started to show. Some folks think it’s good that she shares, but others don’t seem to have heard of it. Then, others think a month of the application is a bit much.
Professional Advice
It’s not something that Braunwyn Windham-Burke does off the top of her head. Probably, her dermatologist advised her about the treatment. To those who question it, Braunwyn explained, “it’s a chemo cream that can be used instead of freezing or cutting the cancers off 🙂 I’ve been getting melanomas since I was 19.”
Hopefully, the former Bravo star gets all fixed up with the cream because untreated sun damage can become disfiguring and extremely dangerous.
