Counting On Alum Derick Dillard Shades Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar

Counting On alum, Derick Dillard is no fan of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Actually, the TLC star has shaded both of them in the past. This weekend, he did so again, and his comments came on a post by Without A Crystal Ball. Well, that’ll hardly likely to help end the rumored feud any time soon.

When fans heard rumors of huge differences between Derick and Jill and her parents, they confirmed it on their vlog on YouTube. Actually, Jill said that it’s taking a long time to heal. In fact, fans wondered if Michelle ever sees her grandchildren, Isreal and Sam. And so far, Michell has not announced Jill’s pregnancy. It all started when Derick started speaking openly about his issues with Jim Bob and filming for TLC.

More recently, when the Counting On patriarch ran for office in Arkansas State Senate District 7, Derick didn’t hold back. In fact, he said some really harsh things about Jim Bob Duggar. It came when Jim Holt expressed his disappointment that Jim was allegedly a liar. At the time, Derick said, “Contrary to his campaign, he does not believe in freedom, but his manipulation has resulted in what is akin to human trafficking.” He also claimed his father-in-law is “defensive and verbally abusive.”

Counting On – More Shade From Derick Dillard

This weekend, the shade came on a post by Katie Jay of Without A Crystal Ball. From the tone of Katie’s post, she had mentioned at some stage, that the Duggar girls are not allowed to dance. Well, that’s common knowledge. However, she revealed some photos from the recent vow renewal. In her caption, she said, “John, Joy, Abbie, and Katey were all seen dancing at the event. Joy even danced with her son Gideon.”

Katie also mentioned that the Counting On family “seems to have come a long way from the days of no dancing 💃.” That’s when Derick popped up and seemed to directly shade Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s parenting.

The Counting On alum said in the replies, “In my opinion, it’s unhealthy if adult children are pressured to have the same convictions as their parents.” 

Well, a lot of people replied to Derick. One of them wrote, “Totally agree with your Derick! Just wish the others could see that it’s not a bad thing!”
