Did Sister Wives Star Kody Brown Make An Exception For Aurora?

Sister Wives Season 18 is in full swing and for the second time, Aurora Brown gets some cameo footage. The first time was when she had a panic attack. In the current season, Kody Brown is raising the ire of TLC viewers because he seems to be besotted by Robyn’s daughter. Did he go so far as to make an exception for her that he wouldn’t have done for the other girls?

TLC fans saw from spoilers, that Aurora, Robyn’s child was slated to get her ears pierced. Many people on social media groaned because she’s not a little girl these days. In fact, they predicted a boring episode. However, what they got was Kody being nauseating and gushy over his “golden” daughter. He took her for her ear piercing and babied her as if she was still 11 instead of in her early 20s. 

Sister Wives star Mykelti Padron had something to say about the scenes with Aurora. Bear in mind, she is one of the kids, perhaps the only one, who has any time for Robyn. Of course, that’s apart from her own children. She stayed with Robyn for a while as a teenager and she seems to like her a lot. Often, she is the one who defends her dad, as well.

These days, Mykelti Padron is very active on Patreon. Katie Joy from Without A Crystal Ball on Instagram found out what she said about the ears of Aurora getting pierced. Katie cited her as saying that “Kody refused to let any of his daughters pierce their ears while they lived under his roof. The girls were only allowed to pierce their ears after they moved out. 

The Sister Wives star also felt upset because she could see that Kody was being “hypocritical.” Additionally, her father sometimes made rude remarks about women who had their ears pierced. Also, none of the other kids got to go out with Kody to specially get them done. However, he definitely made an exception for Aurora.

In the comment, one Sister Wives viewer said, “Clearly, he not only has a favorite wife, but favorite kids as well.”

Another commenter wrote, “I’m glad mykelti said all this because I was getting the feeling she was completely turning a blind eye to Kodys obvious favoritism.”
