Gabby Windey, who came out in August 2023, took shots at Clayton Echard years after he was the lead for The Bachelor. So, he responded, and now a tit-for-tat fight grows online as each of them responded publically after he called her out for bullying.
Gabby Slammed Clayton’s Dancing
It’s been three years since ABC fans saw finalists Gabby, Rachel Recchia, and Suzie Evans on Season 26. Clayton moved on and worked on himself, and one way of coping with mental health issues was to start sharing dancing videos on TikTok.

Shortly after marrying Robbie Hoffman, Windey, who did well on DWTS, dissed him on the Las Culturistas podcast with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers. At the time, she described him as a “toe-looking a**” and criticized his dance videos, saying they would “make you run” and “wish you didn’t have eyes.”
Clayton Fires Back, Things Escalate
The Bachelor Nation alum responded, accusing Windey of “bullying” and attacking his appearance and his passion. In his video about it, he said his dance videos “cause no harm and have encouraged others to try new things.”
He also added, “Gabby, what you’re doing is bullying. There’s no other way around it.” Next, he said, “You’re attacking me for my physical appearance, you’re attacking me for a passion that I love that’s changed my life. It’s unnecessary, and it’s not funny.“
The Escalation
Things started getting uglier as Gabby Windey, reluctant to take accusations of bullying, outed Clayton Echard in another TikTok, slamming him for discussing her intimacy on the ABC show. Hammering her issues home, she said, “You humiliated us in front of each other and in front of everybody watching the TV show.”

Talking about the way he did that without asking her and Rachel first, she felt upset because the lead had talked about intimacy “on national TV.” It’s just as well she wasn’t the Bachelorette who ended up talking about jousting in windmills. She also talked about how “It’s rich coming from a man who exploited my sexual life on TV without me knowing.”

The Second Attempt To Stop His Ex
Of course, that only made Clayton Echard respond again. In his latest response on TikTok, he said that he understood Gabby was upset, but he also came with receipts to prove he’d apologized for it years ago. Plus, he noted that he tried everything “to apologize.”

Angry but quiet, he talked about how it doesn’t make it right to attack anyone about the way they look or how they dance to cope with mental health issues, especially after they apologized years ago. He also told her that she was setting a bad example to her young followers.
