The New Relationship
Not only did Gerry not die as recently reported, but he’s in love again. The news about the new special person in his life arrived when the ABC alum appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. He doesn’t want to rush things, especially as he divorced Theresa Nist so soon after marrying her.
So, he said, “I don’t want to say too much and jinx it and I’m trying to respectfully get to a point where there’s an acceptable amount of time from my divorce.” Nevertheless, he thinks the relationship has some potential in the long term. He described it as “going well.”
His New Woman Likes Travel

Gerry Turner has been traveling a lot lately, and most recently, he was seen in Mexico. Recall that Theresa wasn’t able to travel much because of her job in New Jersey. But his new woman is keen to get in some adventure. So, it might work out for them. She has daughters, which is something that Gerry can relate to. Did he mention Theresa? Yes, he did.
Apart from talking about the difficulties of a long-distance relationship, he also said, “I have told Teresa that I’m dating someone so that it won’t be shocking news to her.”
Gerry still stays in contact with some of the cast members from his season on ABC. He’s friendly with Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts. So, they know about his new relationship. He also mentioned Faith and Nancy. Certainly, he still seems to hold his former contestants in high regard and considers them to be friends.

Some fans are still angry about the super-fast wedding and faster divorce. So, one critic said, “They never should have been married then. Marriage shouldn’t be mocked.”
Another irritated viewer wrote, “There is NOTHING GOLDEN about a RATTLESNAKE, Turner.” However, the older man still has some loyal followers. So, many others clapped back at the trolling remark.
