Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) alum, Jen Shah, finally completed her sentence and she’s finished her home confinement after being convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in a telemarketing scheme.
After Her Prison Release
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shah said in a statement, “Today marks the official completion of my sentence and the closing of a chapter that changed my life and my family forever.”
She also let her Bravo fans know that she “takes responsibility for the decisions that were mine.” She’s had a while to think about her life choices and the decisions that she made “had serious consequences.” She also said that she can “accept those consequences.”

It was not the first time that the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum talked about her crimes. Back in April, People magazine cited her as saying in an interview, “I made wrong decisions.”
She also admitted that she felt “deeply remorseful and sorry.” Some RHOSLC fans appreciated that she appeared to own her mistakes.
Several Time Reductions
While Jen Shah was locked up at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, she managed to get several time reductions for reportedly good conduct and participation in prison programs.
Jen Shah surrendered to the Federal Bureau of Prisons in February of 2023. At the time, a lot of Bravo fans assumed she’d spend the next six-and-a-half years behind bars.
However, that didn’t happen, and per E! News, she served some of her time confined to her home. She served approximately 33 months at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, but was released to home detention in December last year.
She is free from prison and home confinement, but she isn’t entirely free from federal supervision.
Will She Be Back On The Show?
Will she return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City? Many Bravo fans hope so, but Andy Cohen, as an executive producer and host within the Real Housewives franchise, has considerable influence.
On his SiriusXM radio show, Cohen wasn’t too keen for Jen Shah to return to RHOSLC. At the time, he said, “There has to be a line.”
Fans React
In the comments of the YouTube video by E! News, fans quickly said they don’t want to see her back on the show. One person wrote, “Don’t Let Her Back In Bravo!”
Another viewer commented, “She is disgusting.”
However, not everyone feels the same way about it, and another follower noted that they kept Teresa Giudice on the Real Housewives franchise, so they wondered, “Why not her?”
Another reply noted, “It could happen, because hey… controversial gets views.”
We’ll have to wait and see what Jen gets up to next, but she did hint in her statemen to The Hollywood Reporter that she has some ideas about what she will do.
