Josh Duggar Is Housed In Honors Dorm, Gets A Shakedown

19 Kids and Counting fans question why Josh Duggar was moved into an honors dorm in Seagoville prison camp as he was caught with an illegal phone. Well, it seems that the privileged prisoners are just as bad with that sort of thing as the normal ones. Allegedly, the honors dorm had two recent shakedowns. 

Josh Duggar Got Privileges

19 Kids and Counting fans were shocked when the news emerged that the honors dorm, which is supposed to house model inmates, included the TLC alum. He broke the rules, and general feelings are that he shouldn’t be rewarded for that. Well, he seems to get privileges for no good reason that TV show fans can see. 

TLC fans saw some footage that revealed Josh Duggar wearing sunglasses, nice clothing, and shoes, and strolling around looking relaxed. Somehow, it seemed odd that apart from being behind a wire, the man sent to prison for CSAM seemed to have an easy life. Allegedly, the honors dorm even has air-conditioning, something few prisoners get access to. 

Josh Duggar’s Building Gets Two Shakedowns?

19 Kids and Counting fan, u/No-Hair1511 told other TLC viewers on Reddit that they visit Seagoville “weekly.” Additionally, they found out some interesting information. Apparently, Building 6 isn’t immune to shakedowns and lockdowns, and they happened twice in recent weeks. 

The OP continued by mentioning Josh Duggar, saying in part:

Building 6 was getting shake down / lock down again. Again? Yes the 2nd time in less than 30 days. No this is not typical, building 6 is a “honors” dorm…cell phones are in abundance w the inmates… These cell phones have full access to the internet. I did find it interesting [Josh] stays in [an] honors dorm on account of him being caught w cell phone at least once. We know for him to have access to internet verses a normal inmate.. well I’m just saying. The internet is how he gets drug of choice.

Josh Duggar, TLC fans decided in the discussion, might have been caught with something he shouldn’t have had during the shakedown. Here are some of their reactions:

• If he keeps getting his sentence extended then that keeps [him] away from all the Dugglets for longer.
• …the guy has years of experience following restrictive rules. He also has years of experience not getting caught.
• Pest is only in an honours dorm because of the fact he is a “celebrity” IMO which frankly just sounds like corruption to me tbh.
• It’s curious right? The cell phones arrive in many creative ways but mostly from staff.
