Josh Duggar Gets Special Privileges
TLC fans were happy when they heard the appeals by the former reality TV star seemed to have gotten him no closer to getting out of prison. After all, the CSAM content on his laptop had allegedly been terrible. So, they would like him to serve every minute of his sentence behind bars.
In September, Counting On fans heard that Josh Duggar suddenly got a whole raft of privileges and they wondered why. After all, he hadn’t been a model prisoner and had been punished. That happened when he was caught with a phone. So, they thought that he didn’t deserve to move to the new “Honors Dorm.”
Josh Duggar Looks Radically Different, Flaunts Privileges
This week, The Sun US shared a TikTok video they obtained that showed Anna’s husband walking out in an open area of the Seagoville compound. The reel was taken from beyond the wire, so it wasn’t very clear. But, it was clear enough to show that he grew out a mustache, has longer hair, and seems to have shed a lot of weight.

The reel about Josh Duggar focused on how he seems to be able to get luxury items that are not “sold in the commissary.” He wore “sunglasses” and some flash shoes and shorts. So, the outlet wondered if he might become a “target” for those “special privileges.”

When TLC fan u/Fraggle-of-the-rock shared the video on Reddit, many Counting On fans commented about the former reality TV star. In the caption, the OP wrote:

TLC fans commented because they hate the idea of Josh Duggar smirking and getting privileges. Here are some of their reactions:
- He looks positively svelte compared to when he went in. Prison life agrees with him.
- Prison is his version of “going to college.” He gets to live away from his family, meet new people, and try on a new identity.
- He doesn’t deserve sunglasses.
- He should be in a cave.
- Why does he always look happy? It p–ses me off. He’s one of the worst humans in the world. He has nothing to smile or smirk about.
