Josh Duggar is planning a tell-all book after his prison release. The Counting On alum is serving time in prison for child pornography. He tried countless times to overturn his case by having his lawyer file different appeals, all of which have been rejected.

Josh Duggar’s Prison Sentence

Josh Duggar is serving 12.5 years in prison at FCI Seagoville Federal Prison in Texas. He’s already had a rough time there. Security guards caught the former TLC star with a contraband phone. That resulted in a two-month extension of his prison sentence.

The prison also has a new warden, who punishes the inmates if they get caught with contraband. They just did an investigation of the prison earlier this year.

In the meantime, Josh spent his birthday behind bars. His wife Anna Duggar didn’t visit him even if she still supports him. Some of his siblings visited him to celebrate his big day.

It’s unclear whether Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar visit Josh in prison. Josh has a hard time forgiving his family. He blames them for the court’s decision. He plans to write a tell-all book about his experience. Josh feels he has nothing to lose by speaking out against his family.

An insider revealed that Josh Duggar’s sisters have forgiven him. However, he won’t forgive them for not supporting him through his court trial. Josh was found guilty of possessing and obtaining abusive material involving children. Many members of the Duggar family were happy about the verdict.
