Kate Gosselin, formerly on Jon and Kate Plus 8 and later on, Kate Plus 8 on TLC, has been posting on TikTok recently. If you didn’t know, she does have an account there and in the last week, she’s posted a video every day. Read on to find out how fans reacted.
A Daily Video
Three days ago, a pinned post on the video platform revealed Kate looking well as she assured her followers that it really was her account. In that reel, she wrote, “This IS my account! kate gosselin is actually me… in case you were wondering.” Well, she immediately found a lot of trolls who claimed they hadn’t been wondering at all.
Over the last week, other videos arrived, and one of them showed a throwback photo of herself in Disney her kids. Some critics slammed her because she had no recent photos of all her children. And others complained because she keeps talking about eight kids, but she doesn’t raise Hannah or Collin.

Not A Swimmer
Out with friends, who were not shown on camera, Kate Gosselin shared a video of herself swimming in a natural pool with a flotation device. She told her followers that she can’t swim. “No, I can’t swim so I’m using my pink flotation device,” she said.
Popular videos included her dogs. People also love dog videos, but that only attracted trolls who slammed her for keeping the dog restrained on a leash in the house while it’s sleeping.

Comments Are Mostly Negative
Unfortunately for Kate, each post on TikTok attracted comments about how she only has six kids. That, of course, relates to her daughter Hannah living with her dad, Jon Gosselin, and Collin, who she sent to a mental health facility.
Here are a few reactions:

- Plus 8? How many of those 8 still talk to you?
- Still using the kids I see.
- Kate 8 didn’t you get rid of a few of them?

There are some supporters. A few people said nice things to Kate, but they were definitely in the minority. Still, she seemed grateful that not everything was negative. It seems that TLC fans have long memories. And notably, most articles about her seem to be very negative since Collin accused her of abuse.
More recently, he joined the military but was discharged after he claimed she contacted the authorities about his mental history. Despite so much negativity, she has managed to gain over 60,000 followers, and she intends to keep on posting.
Scratching For Cash?
Without a TV income, and without confirmation whether Jon’s ex is nursing or not, the mom of the twins, Cara and Mady, and the sextuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, might hope to become an influencer on the site. At the moment, she awaits verification of her status. And, despite the hate, she might do okay. After all, a view is a view, whether people like her or not.
