Bachelor Alum Kelly Flanagan Shares Heartbreaking Loss

Kelly Flanagan appeared on The Bachelor with Peter Weber, but he sent her home and kept finalists Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett. Later, they dated briefly until she started dating Ari Rapti. Unfortunately, in November, they also split. Now a month later, the ABC alum shared a devastating loss this Christmas. 

Kelly Flanagan Seemed Unlucky In Love

Peter Weber first chose Habba Ann Sluss, but later, he dated Madison Prewett. That ended and he hooked up with Kelly again. The Bachelor alums met up again in 2020 when he attended the Super Bowl in Miami. However, their rekindled relationship also came to nothing. 

Like Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss, it seemed that Peter Wever was an unlucky not-so-charming experience. So later, when she started dating Ari Rapti, Kelly Flanagan mostly kept her relationship off social media. However, tipped off by fans, she revealed that he’d seriously “disrespected” her. So, she ended that in November and obviously felt very sad about it, per US Weekly.

Kelly Flanagan Shares Devastating Christmas News

The Bachelor alum let her ABC fans know earlier this month, that her dad was unwell in hospital. However, he wanted to be home for Christmas, and he managed to get into hospice care. Sadly, he has now passed away. The news from the ABC alum arrived on Instagram on Christmas Day. 

Kelly Flanagan wrote a touching but devastating tribute to her father. In her long caption, she said, in part:

[I] want to thank you for being the absolute best to mom and all 6 of us kids. I can’t begin to explain how much we all loved you …I know you’re up in heaven now and are going to watch down on all of us until we meet again…. You held on so strong these last few of weeks, and I truly believe you held on until Christmas…so that instead of feeling sadness in the future, your family could celebrate you together.

Clearly trying to remain positive during the sad time, Kelly Flanagan added, “I’m so glad I got to spend 32 amazing years by your side. I’m going to be heartbroken for a while but I know you would want me to bounce back and celebrate you instead of sadness.”
