For Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi, spoilers from season 4 of Love Is Blind hint that pets sometimes get involved in a marriage.
And the Netflix After The Altar special revealed how Bliss and Zack got together to figure out their challenges.
It all happened after the season 4 couple tied the knot and began their married life, according to People.

And the two Love Is Blind stars soon faced a decision over their pets. Because Zack experienced severe allergies to Bliss’s dog Asher and cat Blythe, she needed to find a new home for their pets.
And so to help Zack, 32, the 33-year-old gave her dog and cat to her sister and mother.
However, an allergy specialist then helped Zack with immunotherapy treatments. But the new Love Is Blind: After the Altar special didn’t show the results.
However, Zack and Bliss shared the success of the treatments, allowing the pets to return home.

And as Bliss looks back, she calls the “really hard” experience an example of how they became a stronger couple. “I would not have done this for anyone else,” revealed Bliss. These animals are like my children. And I think that just speaks to how much I really love and care for Zack. I think I just had hope and faith in the universe or whatever, that they were going to be able to come back to us.”
But Bliss pointed out that Zack made sacrifices as well. For instance, he went for shots twice every week for what the reality TV star calls “long, long periods of time.” And overall, Bliss feels that all the compromises turned into a “really big, beautiful bonding moment.”
However, Zack shared that he recognized what Bliss giving up her animals meant. And he shared, “Everybody has different levels of connections with their animals. But Bliss truly loves Asher and Blythe like children. I’ve always loved animals,” added Zack. “But I’ve also always been allergic to basically everything that had fur, so I’ve always had to kind of keep my distance.”

As a result, Zack experienced what he called a “growing experience. And learning what that means to be an animal parent, not an animal owner. It affected Bliss being separated from them for so long that it was so important to me that we get them back to her,” he added.
And after some trial and error, Zack shared that the couple “got to a point where I felt like, okay, we can do this.” But he noted that after bringing her pets home, Bliss feels “so much more happy with them. That was my big motivation. I was willing, whatever we had to do to get them back.”
