Meri Brown Confesses Distance Between Her and Robyn After Utah Move

Sister Wives Meri Brown Says She And Robyn 'Don't Really Talk A Lot' Since She Moved To UtahMeri Brown is shedding light on where she currently stands with her former sister wives, Robyn Brown, following her split from Kody Brown.

In a recent interview with People, the Sister Wives star revealed, “Robyn and I don’t really talk a lot.” At 53, Meri reflected on how Robyn, 46, has likely been adjusting to life that turned out far differently than she envisioned.

“I know that it was really hard for her when I left,” Meri explained, adding that Robyn is now navigating a fully monogamous relationship with Kody. “I’m not sure that their day-to-day life has changed a whole lot… But she and I don’t have a lot of interaction.”

Despite their previously close bond, Meri admitted that her focus now is on herself and her future. “I feel like right now, I’m just needing to focus on me and my future and who’s going to be a cheerleader for what I’m trying to do in my life.”

Sister Wives Spoilers – Christine And Janelle Brown – Small Steps Toward Reconnection

While Meri was never as close to Christine Brown and Janelle Brown, recent moments in Sister Wives’ ongoing season have hinted at potential reconnections.

During Gwendlyn Brown’s bridal shower, Meri and Christine shared a heartfelt embrace. Christine reassured her, saying life would be “better on the other side” after her separation from Kody.

Reflecting on that moment, Meri said, “She was really cool trying to cheer me on.” She admitted to wondering if this could be a turning point: “Are we going to start building a relationship from here? Is this a point?” Although the two remain on separate paths, Meri acknowledged, “It was a good moment.”

However, Meri remains realistic about rebuilding relationships. “It really just depends on if both parties are involved. Right now, I don’t think that she’s at that place,” she shared, referring to Christine. “I’m totally happy with where I am in my life as well, and I wish her all the best.”

As for Janelle, Meri described their interactions as brief but pleasant. “She and I have conversations on occasion. They’re usually quick… but it’s nice.”

Sister Wives Spoilers – Robyn Brown And The Strain During COVID

On the Dec. 15 episode of Sister Wives, Meri opened up about lingering frustrations with Robyn, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. She expressed disappointment over what she perceived as one-sided efforts to maintain their relationship.

“With Robyn, I feel like I’ve put in a lot… I was the one who was always calling. It wasn’t being reciprocated,” Meri told the cameras.

One incident that deeply hurt Meri was Robyn’s absence at her mother Bonnie’s funeral in March 2021. In a confessional, Meri recalled, “The fact that Robyn didn’t come to my mom’s funeral and support me… was very hurtful.”

While Robyn and Kody were adhering to strict COVID protocols, the situation remained confusing to Meri, especially since Janelle was able to attend.

Robyn later addressed her decision, explaining, “Kody went because we couldn’t both quarantine away from the kids for that long.”

She added that the pandemic had forced her to miss other significant moments, such as Avalon’s birth and her father’s hospitalization. “I love Bonnie and I wanted to be supportive to Meri and I would have been there in a heartbeat if it hadn’t been the situation that we were dealing with with COVID.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Moving Forward

Since leaving Flagstaff, Meri has embraced her new life in Utah. She described the move as a fresh start, telling Extra, “I’m just doing all the things, just having fun and building businesses and taking adventures.” She also credited her dog, Zona, for helping her stay active and healthy.

Reflecting on her journey, Meri shared that the move made sense. “I own the house that I bought years ago… It just made sense for me when Kody and I terminated our marriage to move on, not stay in Flagstaff.”

While her relationships with her former sister wives remain complicated, Meri appears focused on carving out a fulfilling future. Sister Wives continues to air on TLC on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
