Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) spoilers reveal that the cast doesn’t seem to miss Jen Shah. But while the RHOSLC alum remains in prison, her husband Sharrieff Shah does miss his wife.
And Jen’s rep revealed how her 5.5-year prison sentence for a telemarketing fraud scheme has impacted her marriage. Get all the details below.
RHOSLC Spoilers – Jen Shah’s Prison Sentence Impacts Marriage
Amid her 5.5-year prison sentence, Jen Shah has clung to her husband Coach Shah for support. And now Jen’s spokesperson has taken time to offer insights on the Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City alum’s marriage. And a rep for Jen told People that overall, Jen and Coach Shah stay “strong.”
But the spokesperson also admitted that the Real Housewives alum’s prison sentence did cause some “ups and downs.” However, the rep claimed that “Jen and Coach Shah are doing really well. He still sees her often.”
And the couple “talk on the phone frequently. There are still ups and downs, of course, due to the long distances,” noted the rep. “But their marriage is still going strong.”

And the Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City alum’s spokesperson gushed over Coach Shah staying “so supportive of her [and] still very much by his wife. He’s 100% behind Jen.”
But Jen and her family have traveled a long way since the rumors about her alleged role in a nationwide telemarketing scheme began. And at first, the 49-year-old RHOSLC alum claimed her innocence. However, Shah then pleaded guilty in July 2022 following her arrest in March 2021.
And both Jen and her assistant Stuart Smith changed from pleading not guilty to admitting their roles in their lengthy telemarketing scheme. The two faced charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering. And Shah’s legal team at first tried to get the charges dismissed in August 2021.

However, a judge refused that request. And Smith then changed his plea to guilty in November, with Shah following his lead in July 2022. And amid her sentencing in January 2023, Shah apologized for her actions that “hurt innocent people.” I want to apologize by saying, I am doing all I can to earn the funds to pay restitution.”
Shah will remain in prison until her release date of Aug. 30, 2028. And her rep stated that the Real Housewives alum “remains committed towards making her victims whole. She has initiated her payments towards restitution,” added the spokesperson. “And we hope to have her home as soon as possible so that she may resume life with her family and work, putting this chapter of her life behind her.”
