Days Of Our Lives alum Lisa Rinna sparked seemingly endless rumors when she announced her exit from the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH). For instance, some fans felt convinced that Lisa quit. But others believed that RHOBH exec producer Andy Cohen fired the Days Of Our Lives alum. And one group of fans argued that Cohen pressed the Pause button on her gig. However, Andy spilled his perspective on Rinna’s exit from RHOBH in his new book, “The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up,” reported E News.

And Cohen described how the Days Of Our Lives alum quit after filming ended for the season 12 RHOBH reunion. But after Lisa sent a late-night text, she then changed her mind. And so Andy decided that Rinna “should go on pause but absolutely come back.”

But the Bravo exec producer didn’t stop spilling the RHOBH tea with that revelation. And Cohen also wrote of Rinna, “Feels like she has a toxic relationship with the show at this point.” As a result, the 54-year-old thought that “taking a breath away could do everyone good. We mutually agreed with Rinna that she should take a break from the show (this is a real pause).”

Days Of Our Lives – Alum Lisa Rinna Contradicts Bravo King Andy Cohen!

Real Housewives fans felt shocked at the news that Lisa had quit. For instance, SiriusXM’s Smith Sisters Live co-hosts Mariah, Rachel and Lauren Smith described Rinna’s exit as “chaotic.” And Lauren admitted, “That was wild to me” about Andy’s revelations. “Because I had understood the narrative as her having been fired,” explained Lauren. “And I was mind-blown when she texted immediately that night after the reunion being like, ‘I’m out.’ But then, it was like, ‘Actually, no I’m not.’ And then, it’s like, ‘Well, now you’re on pause.'”

However, a spokesperson for the Days of Our Lives alum contradicted Cohen. And the rep insisted that Rinna did not discuss any plan to get put on pause. “There was never any discussion with anyone about that concept,” claimed the spokesperson. “Her contract ended, and the parties mutually agreed not to engage on a new one. She felt her time on the show had run its course,” added the rep.

And the spokesperson described Lisa as “more than happy to move on.” However, the rep also denied rumors that Rinna regretted her exit. “And she still does not regret it,” added the spokesperson. But Lisa sought to put a positive spin on her departure from RHOBH. “This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career,” she said. “And I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”
