Farewell, former RHOA stars and welcome newbies. If the hottest rumor in the Real Housewives universe proves true, that’s just what could happen. And if Bravo does follow through in rebooting the Real Housewives of Atlanta, it would impact season 16, reported Page Six.
But an insider claimed that all the rumors about a total recast for the cast don’t reflect Bravo’s current views on RHOA. And the source shared, “Nothing official has been decided.” But the insider also admitted that “fan feedback” for season 15 has added to Bravo’s reasons for rebooting the reality TV show.
For instance, one viewer complained, “I only watched 2 episodes of #RHOA , idk I’m not into it like I use to. It needs a re-cast. Some of the cast has the same story lines!! (sigh) never thought I would get bored of #RHOA but yeah.” And another urged, “Bravo needs to listen to the fans before we tune out.”

And some fans have named specific cast members who they want to see changed. For instance, one viewer suggested, “Recast #rhoa Sanya [Richards-Ross] Courtney [Rhodes] gotta go. We wanna see rich black women doing their thing.” And the fan complained about “boring women with dry story lines trying to start fake beefs to get a peach.”
However, the source shared that Bravo does pay attention to viewer feedback. As a result, the production team has talked with cast members. And Bravo also has begun doing some “outreach locally in Atlanta” to look for new women for the next season.
But another insider called rumors about a reboot “the “worst-kept secret in town.” And that source claimed Bravo has searched for new cast in Atlanta for several months. But the network faces a challenge.

“They haven’t found any famous people of note that want to be on the reboot,” revealed the insider. “And if they can’t find any famous people that want to be on the show, then they can’t reboot the entire show.” But with season 15 still airing, Bravo does have time to continue seeking the ideal mix of cast for RHOA.
But another source predict a “major shakeup” in the future. And the current RHOA cast of Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Shereé Whitfield, Marlo Hampton and Richards-Ross received an alert to prepare for a “big change. They hinted at a reboot like ‘New York’ got,” added the insider. “But it also could be moving forward with only a couple of the current stars.”
