However, insiders just spilled on what Shannon decided with regard to treatment for her allegedly alcohol-fueled hit and run arrest. And as detailed below, Beador also has sparked concern for a seemingly contradictory plan for her future!

Shannon Beador feels ready to face the consequences of her September arrest for DUI and hit-and-run. And an insider told In Touch that the Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) star has enrolled in an outpatient behavioral wellness program. The program reportedly will help her evaluate her use of alcohol. 

But the source added, “Shannon is ashamed of herself and is taking full responsibility for her actions. She’s so sorry for the damage she caused and confessed to her castmates that she has a problem and is getting the help she so obviously needs.”

However, the insider also claimed that Beador, 59, gave up drinking alcohol “cold turkey.” But despite that decision, the RHOC star plans to head out with her costars Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge on their Tres Amigas comedy tour. And with all three famous on RHOC for their love of tequila, that decision has sparked concern.

RHOC Spoilers – Shannon Beador Won’t Give Up Tour?

In the wake of Shannon’s arrest, she plans to make the comedy tour’s focus “more on their friendship and not drinking,” revealed the insider. But the source noted that previously, drinking alcoholic beverages represented “such a big part of the show before.”

However, the insider shared that Shannon feels “strong enough to get through the tour without a cocktail.” But some worry about her approach to going on tour so soon after giving up alcohol. And the source added, “The feeling is, Shannon shouldn’t be around people who are drinking. But she’s going through with this. And no one can tell her otherwise.”

Meanwhile, the Real Housewives of Orange County star has learned that she will be arraigned the day before Halloween. “Shannon Beador is scheduled to be arraigned 10/30/23,” a spokesperson from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office revealed via MSN. 

Beador’s arrest on September 16 occurred after she clipped a house with her car. She then drove off with her dog Archie, resulting in a booking on two misdemeanors of DUI and hit-and-run. But the RHOC star allegedly parked her car in the middle of the street and pretended to have taken her dog for a walk when police arrived.

And many RHOC fans expressed more concern about the dog than Shannon. However, the Newport Beach Police Department’s animal control unit revealed their investigation. “Our animal control officer looked into the incident, and there was no injury to the dog and no crime related to the dog,” NBPD public information officer Sgt. Steve Oberon stated.
