RHOC: Shannon Beador Talks Arrest, Dog Archie, And Relying On Alcohol Allegations

Real Housewives Of Orange County (RHOC) star Shannon Beador has ended her silence on her DUI and hit-and-run arrest. And Shannon also gave an update on her dog Archie, who rode with her in the car amid that DUI.

Real Housewives Of Orange County (RHOC) star Shannon Beador finally discussed her arrest for a hit-and-run and a DUI. And the 59-year-old RHOC star admitted that she knows about the rumors via Us. 

“I know it’s been a while since I posted,” began Shannon in an Instagram video. “And there’s been a lot of talk about what happened recently. But unfortunately right now, I’m not in the position to comment.” However, Beador promised that when the time comes, she plans to behave in an “open, honest, and authentic” way.

And the video showed the Real Housewives of Orange County star taking a walk with her dog Archie. But Beador also mentioned her beloved pet. And she shared, “Right now, I’m focusing on getting healthy, getting back to myself and walking Archie.”

RHOC Spoilers – Shannon Beador Feels ‘Remorseful’

The Real Housewives Of Orange County star faced arrest for two misdemeanors last month. Shannon drove onto a residential lawn, clipping the house while attempting to park her car. But when police arrived, she took her dog Archie out of car and tried to act as if she had wanted to take him for a walk. 

However, Beador’s attorney Michael Fell discussed the RHOC star’s response to her arrest as feeling “extremely apologetic and remorseful. We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available,” Fell added. “And Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.”

And Beador’s pal Jeff Lewis discussed the situation on an episode of Jeff Lewis Live. “She got a DUI on Saturday night, she was also in a car accident,” he stated, revealing that Shannon got “injured” on his SiriusXM show. “So she’s gonna be recovering.”

But Lewis admitted that he felt “shocked. Shannon and I have been friends for a very long time. I was shocked. She called me yesterday, we talked for a while and I was shocked because I’ve never known Shannon to ever, ever, ever drink and drive. That is something that we have both discussed previously.”

However, Lewis denied allegations that Beador has become an alcoholic. “I don’t think Shannon is an alcoholic. As her close friend, I think she’s going through a lot of personal struggles right now and I think that she probably has been leaning on alcohol, but I don’t believe she’s an alcoholic.”

And Shannon herself discussed her RHOC co-stars allegations about relying on alcohol. “It’s hard. I know that that’s not who I am. My kids watched the episode with me,” she shared, describing them as “upset.”

But Beador shared that her children sided with her. And she described her kids as insisting, “Mom, that’s not who you are.” However, Shannon also claimed that she would never accuse a co-star of relying on alcohol too much. And she explained how she views her role on RHOC. “I feel as though when I’m on the show that I will point out something unkind that a cast member’s done. But I try to avoid putting general characterizations out there about people’s personalities because it’s damaging.”
