Real Housewives Plot Turned Into Prison Play!
Andy Cohen and Bravo TV producers might want to keep their eyes on Jen Shah. Because though the Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City alum currently lives behind bars, Jen seems to possess a desire to produce and star in her very own franchise. As a result, Shah penned a play about Real Housewives set in prison, reported Page Six.
And the Real Housewives alum has even retained her manager, Chris Giovanni. Dutifully fulfilling the role of keeping Shah in the spotlight, Giovanni shared that Jen has teamed up with her fellow prisoners to write the play. And the title stems from the prison camp: “Real Housewives of Bryan.”
However, Shah’s manager also claimed that production has moved slowly. And that’s due to Jen reportedly offering some prison inmates lessons in how to read and write. But when the Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City alum finishes teaching, she hopes to finalize the script featuring real-life housewives behind bars at FPC Bryan in Texas.

RHOSLC Alum Jen Shah Stays Fit In Prison
Because Jen has taken charge of the script, she made sure the personalities seem “cranked up to 11,” revealed Giovanni. And he also noted that the RHOSLC alum, 49, has focused on her fitness. She works out daily and cut down on her food intake. As a result, Shah has lost 15 pounds thus far.
In addition to writing her play and exercising, Jen has worked in the prison’s library and education section. And the RHOSLC alum has participated in Ramadan as part of her faith. That means Shah fasts and prays daily with other Muslim inmates.
The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City alum received her six and a half year prison sentence in January. Jen had first pleaded innocent, then changed to a guilty plea to wire fraud. And she apologized for her alleged telemarketing scheme that scammed thousands, focusing on the elderly.

However, Shah recently received a reduced sentence, meaning she will exit prison on Aug. 30, 2028. But Jen also owes $6.5 million in restitution to her victims. And federal authorities reportedly have focused on locating some of her jewelry as part of the sentence.
“I have spoken with my client Jen Shah over the phone this week. She is doing well and remains committed toward making her victims whole,” shared the RHOSLC alum’s spokesperson. And her rep also revealed that the RHOSLC alum “has initiated her payments towards restitution. We hope to have her home as soon as possible so that she may resume life with her family and work, putting this chapter of her life behind her.”
