RHOSLC: Jen Shah Should Think Twice About Making Pals In Prison, Says Federal Prison Expert

The star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Jen Shah was arrested together with her assistant Stuart Smith in March 2021, on charges of wire fraud and money laundering.

At first, the reality TV star kept pleading not guilty but, around the month of July she finally plead guilty and stated that she “agreed with others to commit wire fraud” by offering services that targeted elderly people of about 55 years and above.

Those services included “tax preparation or website design services, notwithstanding that many victims were elderly and did not own a computer.” Last week Friday, Jan. 6, Jen was sentenced to a period of 78 months which is approximately 6.5 years in prison for wire fraud.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — On Why Jen Shah Shouldn’t Attempt To Make Friends In Prison

As of late last year, two other widely known women were also sentenced to jail for defrauding people of their hard-earned money. They’re Elizabeth Holmes and Julie Chrisley.

Amid post-sentencing, Jen was caught on camera having a lavish dinner with a group of twenty friends. The snapshot also featured two unrecognized men standing guard, making sure no one takes unauthorized pictures of the Bravolebrity.

After what appeared like the last supper for the actress before she goes to Jail on February 17, people were of the speculation that Jen would continue her lavish lifestyle when she gets to federal prison, and that she would meet and make new friends there too.

In an exclusive interview with the author of “Lessons From Prison” and Co-Founder of “White Collar Advice” Justin Paperny, Justin dished out free advice to Jen on why she should not make friends in federal prison.

Speaking to Nicki Swift in a video shared on his YouTube channel, Justin said, “So, once Jen Shah or Elizabeth Holmes or the Chrisleys get there, there will be people who couldn’t care less that they’re there and who will have no idea that they’re there.”

“I would encourage them to socialize as little as possible to create a routine that keeps them out of the TV room at night, where the hustling takes place, the drama, the fighting the car cards, dominoes, where the weight of the day is behind you.

Justin went on to give his reason for that. He said, “Because some people — both male and female — rule that TV room like it is their fiefdom. In my experience, friendships will form organically.”

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — Jen Shah Is Not Allowed Conjugal Visits

Radar Online exclusively reported that Jen would be allowed to see her husband Coach Shah while in prison but during visiting hours only. However, there was a condition attached to it.

In the period of the 78 months which Jen would be spending in prison, she will be allowed to ONLY share kisses with her husband. There shall be no form of PDA between Jen and Coach throughout the periods of his visits or there would be severe consequences.

The rule guide states, “A handshake, embrace, or kiss, as a greeting or farewell, is permitted within the limits of acceptable conduct upon arrival and departure of visitors.”

The guide also states that “Other physical contact is prohibited and will be deemed just cause for termination of the visit. When the visit is terminated due to unacceptable conduct, the concerned inmate may receive disciplinary action.”
