RHOSLC Star Mary Cosby Welcomes Son Robert Jr Home From Jail

The son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) star Mary Cosby, Robert Cosby Jr., got a lot of love from his mom after his release from jail. Plus, she thanked her many Bravo fans for their prayers and support. Read on for more details.

If you don’t know, Robert, who struggled with addiction problems for years, served time behind bars recently. Arrested back in November last year, he ran into trouble when he violated a protective order.

Actually, it wasn’t a good scene as he damaged a car belonginjg to his in-laws and did a few other things. Apart from that, he didn’t seem very keen on cooperating with the cops.

Held while facing charges of assault on an officer, criminal trespassing, and felony property damage, his sentence last week saw him freed on probation. Plus, he has to do community service.

His Divorce Finalized 

The news of his release came hot on the heels of the finalization of his divorce from ex-wife Alexiana Smokoff. Notably, Reality Tea pointed out that his divorce also comes with a no-contact order.

Well, his mom, famous for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, seems determined to see him through this difficult time. Additionally, many Bravo fans root for the young man who seems to struggle with the challenges in life.

On Saturday night, on Instagram, Mary Cosby shared a photo of her son and in the text overlay, she thanked her followers for their prayers.

In her caption, she wrote, “Love you all❤️ My Beautiful Son.. I love him sm❤️.”

Finding His Way Again

According to People Magazine, Robert Jr.’s lawyer, Clayton Simms, said that Mary’s son is committed to taking responsibility now. Apparently, those two months in jail gave him a new perspective. So, he plans on finding a job and intends to get real by focusing on therapy.

“Unfortunately, we sometimes learn more from our mistakes than our successes,” Simms said. “Robert is on the right path and moving forward in a positive direction.” Hopefully, Robert Cosby Jr. rebuilds his life, and with the support of his mom, Mary Cosby, RHOSLC fans hope that everything works out for him.
