Chrisley Knows Best alum, Savannah Chrisley calls for “humanity, dignity, and justice” within the prison system. This week, she read another letter from her mom, Julie Chrisley. It came after the USA Network alum was moved by the US Marshals for resentencing.
Savannah Chrisley Reads Letters From Julie Chrisley
The Chrisley Knows Best alum has read letters from her mom before. Returning to the reading of letters right now might be a coincidence. Alternatively, it could be good timing. Social media posts allege that the pardoned J6 prisoners are also talking about overly harsh treatment, raising more questions about the state of the Bureau of Prisons.

Savannah Chrisley could have accepted that her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley went to prison for tax and fraud-related offenses. Instead, she fought bitterly over the conditions inside the facilities. The USA Network alum shone a light on Pensacola where Todd is being held. And, she wasn’t far off, because it is being closed, and prisoners relocated.
Savannah Chrisley Finally Has Big Guns On Her Side
Chrisley Knows Best fans who follow Fox News might have seen that under President Donald Trump’s leadership, the “Federal Bureau of Prisons Director, Colette Peters resigned from her position.” As DJT implements “drastic reforms to the Justice Department,” many people with loved ones locked away might be feeling hopeful.

Savannah Chrisley took to Instagram to talk about a letter her mom wrote. Julie Chrisley wrote it during transportation to and from her resentencing after her sentence was vacated. It was so bad, she alleged, that she couldn’t wait to return to FMC Lexington in Kentucky.
USA Network Alum Calls For ‘Humanity & Dignity’
USA Network fans saw that the post by Savannah Chrisley was an invitation to view the whole letter-reading on the Unlocked Podcast on YouTube. You can watch it further down in this article. In her caption, she said:
My heart shatters as I read my mom’s letters from her prison transport. She was stripped of basic necessities—things no one should ever be denied—while under the care of our own government. The inhumane treatment she endured is something no one should face, yet it’s the reality for so many men and women in our broken system. This isn’t just about my mom..it’s about the need for change. It’s about standing up for humanity, dignity, and justice.
