Chrisley Knows Best fans feel angry at Savannah Chrisley. And the reality TV star didn’t even seem to understand what she did to deserve the wrath of her followers.
Find out how Savannah shocked her fans by announcing that beloved Chrisley Knows Best fan fave Nanny Faye had died. And then learn the truth about her click-bait post below.
Savannah Chrisley – Shocks Fans
Chrisley Knows Best fans felt heartbroken when Savannah Chrisley shared on Instagram that popular star Nanny Faye had died. But when the real story became clear, Savannah’s followers felt disgusted by her deception.
The confusion began when Nanny Faye’s grandson announced on TikTok that his great-grandmother died at 98, noted the Sun. And he revealed that Nanny died from health issues, including cancer.
However, then Savannah, 26, turned to her Instagram Stories. And she revealed Nanny’s death. Together with a photo of her grandmother, Nanny Faye Chrisley, 80, Savannah wrote, “We are sending our condolences on the death of Nanny Faye.”
But the juxtaposition of a pic showing Todd Chrisley’s mother Nanny Faye, 80, with the caption about 98-year-old Nanny dying confused fans. And many thought that Todd’s mom had passed away.
But when the real story became clear, fans slammed the Chrisley Knows Best alum for upsetting them. For instance, one wrote, “Oh My God! Why did she do this??? I thought it actually happened!”
Savannah Chrisley – ‘Gross’ For Fake Death Post
And others felt that Savannah did not make an innocent mistake. For example, one critic shared, “There’s no way she posted this and thought it was okay.”I would have believed & clicked because who with any brain cells/heart would do this!” And another noted, “I’ve seen the show and adored Nanny Faye, so I would have clicked. She’s very sick for doing that. Holy.”
But one summed Savannah as “gross.” And the critic pointed out, “I always grew up being told that if you’re gonna lie, don’t EVER say that a loved one passed or is sick. I can’t imagine doing something like this. How gross.”
And some thought Savannah arranged it for click-bait. One such commentator pointed out, “A lot of her followers may not know about this other nanny Faye. Also, putting her picture up there like that! Savannah knew what she was doing.”
Meanwhile, Savannah continues to care for her brother Grayson, 17, and niece Chloe, 10, amid her parents’ prison sentence. In December 2022, their parents, Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, 50, reported to prison for tax evasion and fraud crimes.
However, the couple will leave prison early. For instance, Todd will depart from the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola on Jan. 22, 2033, about two years before his original 12-year sentence. And officials shortened Julie’s sentence by about 14 months. As a result, the Chrisley Knows Best matriarch will receive her release from the Federal Medical Center Lexington on Oct. 19, 2028.
