Real Housewives Spoilers – Will Shannon Beador Get Jail Time?
Shannon Beador, 59, has learned if she will spend time in jail after her arrest in September. And the Real Housewives Of Orange County (RHOC) star received details on her sentence.
Shannon received a sentence of three years of informal probation on Thursday, November 2. The sentence comes after the RHOC star’s arrest and charges with a DUI and hit-and-run, reported Us.
However, Beador also must complete 40 hours of community service. And the RHOC star will need to complete an alcohol program. In addition, Shannon will need to pay fines.
The sentence comes after the Orange County District Attorney charged Shannon on October 27 with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and a second count of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level higher than .08%. And that meant Beador’s blood alcohol level was more than .20 percent. However, Shannon also faced charges of a hit-and-run with property damage.
Real Housewives Spoilers – Shannon Beador Speaks Out
Beador’s charges fall in the category of misdemeanors. But because of her role on Real Housewives Of Orange County, Shannon sparked a backlash for driving under the influence.
And it all began with the RHOC star’s arrest in September for driving erratically in a neighborhood in Newport Beach, California. However, her wild ride ended with Shannon driving onto a residential property. And she clipped a house amid trying to park her car.
But Beador then allegedly exited her vehicle with her dog. And she attempted to act as if she had gone for a walk with the dog as police arrived. But Shannon’s attorney spoke out after her arrest.
And Beador’s lawyer Michael Fell shared that the RHOC star felt “extremely apologetic and remorseful” for her arrest. “I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon yesterday,” said Fell. “We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.”
However, the RHOC star reflected on what had happened. And she turned to social media to share. “I know it’s been a while since I posted and there’s been a lot of talk about what happened recently,” said Shannon. “But unfortunately, right now, I’m not in the position to comment. But there will be a time when I can, and I intend to be open, honest and authentic.”
