Sister Wives: Is Robyn Brown The Bigger Villain Rather Than Kody?

As fans of TLC’s “Sister Wives“ keep their fingers crossed in anticipation for season 19, some of the viewers can’t help but compare Kody Brown‘s villainy to his precious wife Robyn’s, and so far, they seem to think that Kody’s villainy pales in comparison to Robyn’s. The analysis comes from what they’ve witnessed from Robyn throughout the 18 seasons of the show.

It is well known that with the arrival of Robyn in the once-upon-a-time polygamous family came a lot of drama. What was once a peaceful family began having troubles. Of course, it’s not lost on the viewers that Kody played a bigger role in bringing out the villain in Robyn by playing favorites with Robyn and her children, and being a dead-beat to his older children.

But then, there’s no denying that the family’s breakup has Robyn written all over it. It happened that one by one the first three wives divorced Kody leaving him with Robyn. The first to leave was Christine Brown who left in November 2021, followed by Janelle Brown who left the following year 2022, and Meri Brown who followed suit that same year.

Viewers have had to watch Robyn speak ill about her now ex-sister wives boldly and with great confidence. Robyn who has now become the proverbial husband snatcher for successfully overthrowing Kody’s ex-wives, Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown from being her sister wives, once took out time in one of her confessionals to body shame all three by calling them fat and ugly just because she feels she’s the prettiest wife.

Robyn would always shed crocodile tears during her private confessional about how all she wanted was for all her sister wives to cohabit in peace, meanwhile, at home, she’s the architect of all the problems. She makes sure that Kody sees her sister wives as stubborn and disobedient wives by following every rule set by Kody even when it’s glaring that most of the said rules are ridiculous.

Reddit users who weighed in on the opinion came to the conclusion that in as much as everyone knows Kody to be the bad guy, Robyn is just worse, because she’s a “hypocrite” who goes around saying how things should be done only to do the exact opposite. A Redditor wrote, “I was just watching a talk back confessional where Robyn says ‘I think when another wife is controlling what a husband enough to affect other relationships, she’s a bad sister wife.’ Uh wasn’t she controlling Meri for years.”

Another wrote, “She’s clearly one of those people who see themselves as victims in a lot of situations and is the most passive/aggressive person I’ve ever seen.” A third added, “She’s an interfering busy body hypocrite,” while a fourth concurred, “I agree, she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
