And in retrospect, Meri feels that she and Kody lived in “limbo land” for some time. The two revealed their separation in January, ending their 32-year marriage. And Meri explained, “I don’t like living in limbo land.” But then she admitted, “I feel like I live there a lot.”

However, after Kody put Meri into “limbo land,” she realized she could take ownership of her life through a separation. And the Sister Wives star now appreciates making her own decisions that aren’t “based on anybody else.” But she also feels regretful, wishing “that we could have had some of the conversations sooner. And also, I don’t know if I would’ve been ready to have some of the conversations sooner,” Meri admitted.

As a result, the Sister Wives star wants to stop focusing on regrets. But she noted, “I think we all do that to some degree.” However, Meri feels that she experienced some life lessons in the process of living in limbo land. “But I know that there’s things that I needed to learn, and I know there’s things that I needed to do to be able to be in the place that I am right now with the whole thing.”
