Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown ‘Willing To Fake Love’

Kody Brown has come up with a twist on the “fake it until you make it” philosophy of living life. And instead, the Sister Wives patriarch thinks that he can just “fake love” indefinitely with one of his wives, according to spoilers via Us.

But as Kody faces the end of his marriage to Meri Brown, he announces, “I’m willing to fake being in love with Meri. Doing my duties as a husband. Sort of putting up with things that frustrate me so deeply that I struggle to be around her.” 

And the 54-year-old Sister Wives patriarch added, “If I need to for the sake of, whatever, I don’t know. I can fake through this. I don’t want to. But if you’re going to insist, then I will.”

Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Claims To Know What His Wife Wants

Because Kody wants to hold onto his plural marriage, the Sister Wives patriarch seems to want to find a way to get Meri to stay. And he thinks she wants him to stop faking and instead truly love her. But then Meri reveals her own thoughts on the situation.

“Why is he saying he’s willing to keep acting when he clearly hasn’t been for eight or 10 years?” Meri asks about Kody. And she shares, “Also, I wouldn’t want him to do that. I’ve wanted to heal our relationship and even create a new relationship. But I’ve never insisted on it,” added Meri. 

Meri and Kody divorced in 2014 so he could legally wed his fourth wife Robyn Brown and adopt her three children from a prior relationship. However, Kody and Meri stayed in a spiritual union until recently. And spoilers reveal Meri, Kody and Robyn, 45, reflecting on their plural marriage.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Robyn Brown Can’t Handle The Truth

But Robyn insists that Kody considers himself still married to Meri. However, Kody informs Robyn that she needs a reality check. And the Sister Wives patriarch asserts to Robyn, “This is the agreement you required of me in order to get married. This agreement that I gave you, our sacred covenant, was if I’m ever not in love with you, I won’t just sit there and be in a pathetic place with you.”

That remark makes Robyn cry. Because she wants to stay in a plural marriage, she fears the worst ever since both Janelle Brown and Christine Brown split. Christine, 51, ended her marriage with Kody in November 2021. And Janelle, 54, shared her exit in December 2022.

But Meri feels that the current situation doesn’t seem fair to her or Kody. And she points out to Robyn, “It’s not fair for me to be alone like I have been for years. It’s not fair for him to feel like he has to do a duty.” And she confesses, “It’s not what I want.”
