Find out why Kody feels so irked with Robyn. And keep reading to discover what he reveals about Meri as her hopes fade.
Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Gets Confused
Robyn Brown keeps hoping that Kody Brown will reconcile with his estranged wife Meri Brown. And her persistent efforts get the Sister Wives patriarch annoyed, according to spoilers via People.
Robyn, Kody and Meri all gather to hash out Meri’s desire to switch her LuLaRoe clothing business to Utah. Because that move would let her focus on both LuLaRoe and her bed and breakfast, Meri would devote more of her time to Utah. And at first, Kody doesn’t seem to stress over it.
But the fact that Meri plans to hold onto a small house in Arizona does confuse him. And Robyn reveals her insights in a confessional. “We talked about this before and she’s like, ‘Kody’s not going to care’ and ‘He’s going to be good with it’ and stuff,” shares Robyn.
But Kody reveals he feels annoyed because he can’t translate and read “between the lines. I can’t tell if she’s saying, ‘Hey, I’m going to move my business to the B&B’ so I go, ‘No, no, Meri, please don’t, stay here.’ I don’t see her that often.”
Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Wants Meri Brown To ‘Catch Up’
And Kody gets honest about his approach to Meri’s plans. “But I’m not trying to act like we’re getting back into this marriage full fledged. I’m not trying to do that. I think I see the writing on the wall. I’m literally waiting for her to catch up,” says the Sister Wives patriarch.
But Robyn thinks that “something” still exists between Kody and Meri. And so she urges that the two schedule time with Meri. However, the Sister Wives patriarch gets annoyed with that suggestion.
“Robyn and Meri are still talking about this relationship that the three of us have like we’re a family,” complains Kody. “And what I’m gathering from what Robyn is saying is like, ‘Well, you got to be around because this is your wife.’ And I’m like, I just don’t need that kind of pressure from you.”
But Robyn claims that because she sees “so little left,” she wants to prove to Meri “that there’s still some hope. And Kody is not helping me with that. It’s very frustrating. And some days, it feels like a deal breaker.”
But a clash results. Robyn wants Meri to reassure Kody that she’s not exiting the family. And Kody claims that what Meri decides “actually has no effect on me. I’m not complaining about her B&B, I’m just questioning what she’s doing,” he added.
Sister Wives Spoilers – Meri Brown’s Hope Fades
And Meri initially holds onto “hope” about a future with Kody. But then her dreams begin to vanish. And she admits in a confessional, “Conversations like this basically just tell me, ‘Go ahead, Meri, and just live your life on your own like you’ve been doing because nothing else is going to change.'”
However, Robyn gives away her feelings with body language. And Kody notes that Robyn keeps her distance. As a result, the Sister Wives patriarch says he feels “very uncomfortable.”
Kody believes that he sees Robyn becoming “an advocate of me and Meri in our reconciliation, in our marriage, and they’re making me feel very uncomfortable. I got one wife that I’ve got a great relationship with and I’m afraid if I abandon these women that she’ll lose respect for me.”
But Kody believes that “the writing is on the wall” with Meri. “It’s been obvious to me. When I try to go into that discussion with Meri, I get so much resistance. It’s not really fair to either of us. But as long as she wants to live in this denial, I guess I can live in it with her,” he concedes.
