Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown Considers Marrying Again
Kody Brown thought he achieved his dream of the happy husband in a polygamous marriage. But during the past two years, it all went wrong.
And after spiritual marriages to Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown, the 54-year-old patriarch found himself only with Robyn, pointed out People.
However, rather than figure out why only 44-year-old Robyn remains, Kody took some time for considering his past and future.
And he revealed if he wants to go from his monogamous state back to a plural marriage. But Kody proclaims that he sees “no reason” to marry again “after the experience I’ve had. There’s no reason for me to do that,” he adds.
However, the Sister Wives patriarch insists that his future looks brighter and better. “I feel like I’ve hit the bottom of a deep swimming pool,” reflected Kody. “But I’ve pushed off and am headed to the surface.”
Sister Wives Spoilers – Dreams Versus Reality
And part of the problem seems to lie in how Kody, Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn all viewed the dream of a plural marriage. The Sister Wives patriarch and his four wives thought it seemed like an ideal situation. But then came the drama.
And with wives clashing over jealous behavior, children suffering from neglect, and legal concerns, that dream castle in the air came crashing down like a house of cards.
“I went in with these ideas about how idyllic plural marriage was going to be,” recalled Janelle. “But it was really hard,” added the 54-year-old Sister Wives star.
And Janelle described how she and Meri “clashed on everything. Kody and I were amazing when it was just us,” she insisted. “But the family dynamic was really tough.”
As a result, all three of Kody’s ex-wives focus on improving their new lives. For instance, 52-year-old Meri describes her future as seeking to keep “the doors open and saying yes.” But Janelle insists that she experiences zero regrets.
And Janelle reveals her appreciation for the way that the shared “experience gave us the life that we have now. I would do it all again,” she adds.
But Christine, 51, proclaims, “Just because I left, it doesn’t mean we failed. It [only] means there’s change.” Season 18 of Sister Wives premieres Aug. 20 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
