Kody Brown provided his wives with specific guidelines before they could become part of his plural marriage. But as the Sister Wives patriarch looks back, he realizes he didn’t spend enough time with each wife, according to spoilers via People.

Sister Wives Spoilers: Kody Explains 'Sacred Loneliness,' Shades Christine And Janelle

And Kody explains how “sacred loneliness” applies to women in plural marriages. Because “their husband’s not around as much,” he realizes such marriages can result in feeling lonely. But Christine questions the term. And she gets skeptical, asking, “Sacred loneliness? Like you’re supposed to honor the fact that you’re lonely?”

But Janelle rebels as well, discounting the concept that women should “sacrifice some of your emotional needs because you want to live in a plural marriage. I’ve always thought it was so dumb. Sorry.”

And Meri agrees. She shares that Kody loves to lecture on the difficulties women face in a plural marriage. But Meri thinks Kody took way too long to recognize their loneliness. And she sarcastically says, “It’s like, really, now you figured that out?”

But Robyn takes her hubby seriously. And she acknowledges that “Yeah, plural marriage can be lonely. In my head, it’s an opportunity for you to get a relationship with God.”

But Kody complains that he feels “tired of hearing about the struggle.” And the Sister Wives patriarch points out that “they all agreed that they were going to do this.” As a result, Kody comes up with a defense. And in the process, he throws shade at Christine and Janelle.

“I courted Meri,” he recalled. “And I courted Robyn. But Christine and Janelle both asked if they could be in the family,” revealed Kody. “And with that ask, I had some special requirements that I wanted them to meet in order to come into the family.”

Sister Wives Spoilers – Janelle Brown Feels Men Shouldn’t ‘Chase Wives’

As a result of his plural marriage values, Kody says that he told Christine and Janelle they must remain “committed to me.” But Janelle feels that she and Christine should have received as much attention as Kody’s fourth wife Robyn.

And Janelle claims, “It’s improper for a man to be out chasing wives.” As a result, she feels that the proper approach to expanding a plural marriage involves a woman approaching a family. And Janelle says that the woman should say, “Look, I feel like I had a spiritual revelation that maybe I belong in your family.”

But instead, Kody ” keeps saying Christine and I asked to be in the family and Robyn was invited,” pointed out Janelle. “Somehow because Christine and I asked, we deserve less [and] we should be happy with what we got? It wasn’t like we were begging to be in the family. We simply asked, there was a courtship and then we all got married.”
