Sister Wives Spoilers: Kody’s ‘Slap In The Face’ In Wedding Dress Drama!

Sister Wives spoilers reveal the entire cast revisiting the wedding dress drama in an upcoming TLC special titled “Sister Wives Look Back: How It Started.” And the Sister Wives co-stars agree that the scene unveiled (no pun intended!) just how much Kody Brown favors Robyn Brown.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Inside Wedding Dress Drama

Kody Brown first hinted at how Robyn Brown became his favorite wife in a wedding dress drama that still stands out as one of the most memorable Sister Wives scenes ever.

And the TLC special titled “Sister Wives Look Back: How It Started” spoilers via People will show Kody also claiming that his first three wives behaved badly when he tied the knot with Robyn.

However, the Sister Wives patriarch singles out Christine as “jealous.” And Kody claims that he “didn’t want to be married” to Christine even amid planning his wedding to Robyn. But the Sister Wives special will also highlight Christine, Robyn, Janelle and Meri recalling the famous wedding dress drama.

And the quartet agreed that event forever altered their plural marriage. As Christine, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri view a throwback video of Kody discussing how he picked out Robyn’s wedding gown, the other wives cringe. But the Sister Wives patriarch also gets giddy about his fourth wife.

And Kody says in the throw-back clip, “Robyn and I went and looked at dresses and she picked one out. And I was like, ‘Holy cow.’ It’s like I’d seen it in my dreams, you know?” he gushes. 

However, Christine grumbles about that scene. And she recalls how Kody didn’t care what she wore at their wedding. But Janelle and Meri agree with Christine.

As a result, Kody’s now-ex wives call the Sister Wives patriarch’s wedding dress confession “not cool and a slap in the face.” And Janelle tries to explain the women’s response to Kody’s favoritism of Robyn. 

And Janelle clarifies, “I wasn’t even really emotional involved with any of the dresses. But it’s just weird. And then all of a sudden, it was this thing we had all done together — like the women. And then here’s Kody saying, ‘Oh well, it wasn’t really for real.’ It took me back. It was really quite funny ’cause [Kody was] so excited.”

Sister Wives Spoilers – Christine Brown Calls Kody Brown An ‘Idiot’

However, Christine doesn’t see anything funny about the scene. And she slams Kody as looking like an “idiot.” But then Robyn shares her viewpoint.

And Robyn asserts that she doesn’t think that the scene seemed funny. But the Sister Wives star also shares that she asked her husband ” not to share with anybody for the sake of sort of protecting both experiences. I didn’t feel it was necessary for you guys to know that.”

However, after betraying Robyn by sharing the scene anyway, Kody now describes the wedding dress drama as a “really hard one” to revisit. And the Sister Wives patriarch admitted, “I don’t even think I’ve forgiven [myself].”

But Kody then recalled the difference between his other wives and Robyn. “Meri made her dress. Janelle didn’t wear a wedding dress for our wedding. And Christine was just throwing together a wedding and I was living a long way away from her with a family,” he pointed out.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Christine Brown Jealous?

However, then Kody added, “My involvement in seeing a dress that was going to work for Robyn incited some kind of jealousy in Christine that was irrational.” And Christine calls it a “hard day.”

But she also admitted that day marked “the day when I realized, ‘Ah, he is way more in love with Robyn then he was with me when we got married’.” However, Robyn insists that she and Kody remain innocent.

And although Kody offered his thoughts on her dress, Robyn feels that she took ownership of her gown. However, Kody disagrees, insisting that he “knew what I wanted her to wear from the very beginning.” And he also claims he wanted to get involved and didn’t see why anyone would go shopping for a dress without the Sister Wives patriarch.

And then Kody adds, “The problem with the whole experience that I had with Christine was I didn’t really want to be married to her.” But Janelle takes over to slam Kody for that cruel comment. And she adds, “But maybe that was the beginning of some shows of favoritism. I have no idea.”
