According to the Sister Wives Season 18 spoilers, Maddie and Kody Brown are no longer on speaking terms. During the Sunday, October 29 episode, Kody admitted that Maddie no longer calls him. He doesn’t understand why their relationship fell apart.
He assumed that it had something to do with the COVID-19 pandemic. Kody noticed that their relationship went sour after his split from Christine Brown.
His wife Janelle Brown confirmed that her daughter stopped calling Kody. Maddie feels that Kody doesn’t know her at all anymore. Kody has been slammed for not stepping up as a father. He talked about his struggles with his kids in Season 18. Kody regrets his estrangement from his kids.
“Boys, I’m sorry. I was trying to protect my family. Next time, I’d manage it differently and I’m sorry,” Kody Brown told Janelle Brown’s sons.
