Teddi Mellencamp Shouts Out Edwin Arroyave’s Support

Teddi Mellencamp is opening up more about her scary fight against cancer. Recently, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) alum shouted out her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, who stepped up for her despite their pending divorce. 

Edwin Gets A Sweet Shout Out

US Weekly reported this week that they caught up with the Bravo alum, who faces a terrifying fight for her life after her cancer metastasized and spread to her lungs. She spoke a lot about how she swings between despair and positive hope for the future. However, she also talked about Edwin, the father of her kids. 

The oulet cited her as saying, “One day, I was like, something is really wrong. I couldn’t see. Edwin took me to the emergency room in Tarzana.” Fans had noticed that he shared about Teddi’s pain after her brain tumor surgery. The RHOBH star appreciated it a lot, adding, “Edwin was on a mission to make sure every single person I love and care about came to visit me.”

Caring But Reconciliation Not Discussed

While Teddi Mellencamp seems appreciative, she isn’t talking about dropping the divorce. She continued by saying, “I’m really lucky that Edwin, who I was in the middle of a divorce from, we put everything on hold. [It] wasn’t really the time to be fighting over emails.”

However, she did note that he’s “been extremely kind and helping with the kids,” adding, “That’s made things a lot easier.” Right now, she also appreciates that while they live in the same house, it’s without all the tension from the pre-divorce days.

Additionally, she said that whatever happened before, Edwin’s support since she got sick has been a complete turnaround. So there’s a lot of happiness.

Moving On With Someone Else

Fans already heard that the Bravo alum is dating again, despite being so ill. Notably, she talked about Edwin Arroyave moving on without her. Thinking about her mortality, Teddi Mellencamp  said, “I want to talk about the kind of girls [he’s] going to marry… because if these people are going to take care of my kids, this is what I want, and this is the definition of what I don’t want.”

When fans saw the news shared on Instagram, many of them commented on the harsh situation that Teddi faces. One of them wrote, “If this isn’t a reality check for everyone, just how serious skin cancer is. God bless her for being so vulnerable and sharing her entire divorce story and cancer journey when she doesn’t owe anyone a shred of it. Maybe it will help save lives.”
