Teddi Mellencamp Confirms Metastases Cancer Diagnosis

Teddi Mellencamp updated her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, (RHOBH) fans on March 6, 2025, and explained more about her cancer and treatment. On social media, the Bravo alum sounded brave in the face of a scary situation, saying, “…as @bravoandy would say: with all due… f*** off, cancer!”

The  Cancerous Tumors Are Metastases

As Bravo fans already know, Teddi Mellencamp went for surgery and expected that two tumors would be removed from her brain. However several updates revealed that they took out four and more remain. After the surgical staples were removed, Teddi prepped for radiation to kill the smaller ones. 

In her latest Instagram update, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum told her followers:

I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery. I also have 2 tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma.

Teddi Mellencamp related how her medical team seems “hopeful that immunotherapy and radiation will effectively treat them.” She’s ready to fight for her life. Teddi said in a post that showed her wearing a new blonde wig. “I am feeling positive— that I will win this battle,” she vowed before telling cancer where it could go. 

 What Are Metastases Tumors?

According to Cancer.ca, “Metastatic cancer is cancer that has spread from where it started to another part of the body. The original cancer is called the primary tumor.” In Teddi Mellencamp’s case, the tumors spread after surgery to remove melanoma from her back. 

Unfortunately, the website also notes, “Metastatic cancer is usually harder to treat than cancer that hasn’t spread.” The Bravo alum’s got a fight on her hands, but she seems determined to get on top of her challenges. Already home from the hospital, she started getting back into her fitness schedule.  

Reality TV Fans React

The latest news got RHOBH fans and colleagues sending in their loving support. Scheana Shay formerly on Vanderpump Rules wrote, “F**K cancer!!!! You are so strong mama!!! .”

Joining in the encouragement, Dorit Kemsley who currently struggles with her husband Paul’s relationip said, “You got this Teddi! You’re stronger than you realize. I know you’ll win! You’re a fighter, keep fighting… you have a lot of love and support.”
