According to The Bachelor spoilers, Chris Harrison couldn’t be happier about getting fired. He admitted in a new interview that he’s happier than ever since leaving the show. Jesse Palmer took over as the host of The Bachelor and its spinoffs.
Chris spoke out about his time on the show, including what went down. Some reports claim that he was booted due to allegations of racism, while others claim that he left on his own accord.
Since leaving the ABC dating competition franchise, Chris went on to marry Lauren Zima. He feels more at peace without The Bachelor in his life.
What led up to Chris’ departure is that he defended Rachel Kirkconnell for attending a “plantation-themed” sorority event in college. He received backlash from Bachelor Nation. Chris eventually left the show and was replaced.

He made an appearance on fellow Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets. Chris admitted that his exit was the best decision that he made in his life. He didn’t want to be part of the franchise for numerous reasons.
“What I went through was tumultuous. I don’t wish it on anybody,” Chris Harrison told Jason Tartick. “It was horrifying on a lot of levels — and something that I pray to God my worst enemy never goes through. But, with that said, I knew I had to remove myself from what became a very toxic situation.”

However, it wasn’t all bad. Chris is grateful for his time on The Bachelor franchise. He shared the moments that he enjoyed on the show.
Chris made good friends with some of the Bachelor Nation alumni, including Jason. He’s still in touch with those he met on the show. However, Chris had to find a way to make this situation work for him.

“We all could have figured it out, but I had to remove myself from that toxic situation,” Chris continued. “And I’m so proud of that decision. I’m proud that I handled it the way I did and I still look [at the show] as a blessing, because it changed my life on so many levels. Financially, of course. It changed my life. It changed my kids’ lives.”
