The Bachelor alum posted his statement after being asked by a fan what he thought of season 24. Colton indicated that he was not impressed and blamed both producers and Pete. He explained that the show has become “overproduced” and everyone could have done a better job. Colton added that the production team could have offered better guidance to the pilot.
The Bachelor Spoilers: Feeling Sorry For Pilot Pete
Colton ended his social media statement by saying he feels sorry for Pete. He has been involved with Bachelor Nation on two occasions — first on The Bachelorette and then later being chosen as The Bachelor for season 24. Both times he struck out in love, but for different reasons.
In The Bachelor season finale, he got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss. However, their relationship crumbled just one month later after he confessed to still having feelings for Madison Prewett. The breakup allowed him to explore if a lifelong romance was possible with her.
However, he would quickly become single once again when the pair mutually agreed to go their separate ways.

The Bachelor alum believes that the reality TV show controls relationships. He definitely feels that Pete wasn’t really making a lot of his romantic decisions on his own. Or perhaps he was being strongly encouraged to lean a certain way.

Peter Weber’s Romantic Rollercoaster
The Bachelor spoilers reveal that it didn’t take long for Peter and Madison to decide a long-term relationship wasn’t in their future. Two days after the season finale aired, both posted on social media that their romance was over. However, the reality personalities indicated that the split was a friendly one and there doesn’t seem to be any hard feelings. They both had positive things to say about each other.

However, the fact remains that after two stints with Bachelor Nation, Pete still hasn’t found his forever co-pilot. Whether this is the show’s’ fault or he is just unlucky in love is unclear. Hopefully, he finds his perfect partner one day in the future.
