Golden Bachelor Spoilers – Gerry Turner Supports Spin-Off

If ABC gives the green light to a spin-off for the Golden Bachelor, the network can count on Gerry Turner’s support. And Turner told People that he views the concept of a female-centered spin-off as an idea whose time has come.

The Golden Bachelorette comments came in the wake of filming the Women Tell All special. And the Golden Bachelor star, 72, shared that he feels “wholeheartedly in favor” of an ABC dating show spin-off.

But Turner clarified, “I have no say in it, just to be clear.” However, he views it as “exciting. Because it’s going to continue the theme that we’ve started of being hopeful and being visible at our age,” he added. “So hopefully it happens.”

Golden Bachelor Spoilers – Who Stars In Spin-Off?

However, Turner declined to name which contestants should star in the spin-off among those who competed on the first season of The Golden Bachelor. “There’s 22 women that stand out. I absolutely would not be able to single one out,” he asserted.

But the Golden Bachelor star added, “Each one of them has a certain personality that would make a show interesting and charm. And they’re all intelligent. So there’s no bad choice.

But after her elimination, Faith Martin made it clear that she wants to star. And after falling in love with Gerry amid filming, Faith shared, “I really do believe in the process. I feel like I’ve seen it work and I lived it.”

And Faith added that she has learned “that in such a short time, you can have those kind of feelings, and I trust these producers. It’s like they’re matchmaking gods or something because how do they put so many people in a situation where they are compatible and can find those feelings and actually find love on their shows?” she pondered.

However, Faith admitted she initially didn’t believe that the show could actually help someone find true love. But after going through it, she praised the producers as “really good at what they do. So I would’ve never believed that the process could work,” she admitted. “But it does.”

But Faith also made it clear that she longs to appear on the spin-off. And she said, “So I think they should continue to do it with this age group, because I think that gives people hope. I think it’s really fun to watch,” she noted. “And I would definitely be into doing something like that.”

Golden Bachelor Spoilers – A Heartbreaking Farewell

However, Faith also shared her heartbreak over bidding farewell to Gerry. And she confessed, “For about three and a half weeks, I didn’t feel like a human. I seriously felt like my left brain and my right brain were not aligning. In my logical brain, I could understand the way things played out, but in my heart I felt like a shattered emotional wreck.”

But Faith appreciated “the support that I’ve had from the crew, and the producers, and the people that are so incredibly supportive that you feel loved and cared about after,” she revealed. “And so it’s been so beautiful. It’s been such an amazing experience and unlike anything other. Total life-changing event for me for positive.”

I would love to see a spin off of the Golden Bachelor to be the Golden Bachelorette with Faith. I love thr show and concept. Being 60 years old myself I like watching mature women compared to young drama queens.
