The Bachelor spinoff premiered on Thursday, September 28. It shows Gerry looking for love again after the death of his wife. Viewers got a sneak peek into the rest of the season. The clip includes scenes of the elderly hunk kissing some of the ladies and going on fun dates.
There were also dramatic moments. The Golden Bachelor spoilers show one of the ladies telling Gerry that she’s falling in love with him. He admits that he hasn’t felt this way in a very long time. He only felt that way about his high school sweetheart.

“The last time someone said those things to me was my wife of 43 years,” Gerry told the producers. “I never thought I’d see it again. And I’m seeing it and feeling it with more than one person.”
Gerry’s wife tragically passed away six years ago from complications from a bacterial infection. The couple planned to spend the rest of their lives together after Gerry’s retirement.
Gerry wants to find love again so he doesn’t have to be alone. He told his daughters and granddaughters that he tried out for the show.
