Golden Bachelor Spoilers – A Star Is Born
ABC struck gold with season one of the Golden Bachelor. And now fans feel invested. As a result, questions have soared about a second season.
Since its debut in the autumn, millions of viewers have become fans of the Golden Bachelor, per TV Show Ace. For instance, the first episode of the season provided ABC with the best ratings for the franchise in the past few years.
And that means the season finale will score well. Because the Thanksgiving holiday put the Golden Bachelor on hiatus temporarily, viewers have experienced even more time to look forward to the finale and wonder about a second season.
Golden Bachelor Spoilers – When Will Season Two Premiere?
Insiders told Life & Style that season two will definitely take place. And although ABC didn’t confirm it, one source revealed that the Golden Bachelor boosted the entire Bachelor franchise.
Because the first season put the Bachelor “back on the map,” insiders seem confident that a second season will air. However, ABC hasn’t offered any clues about the new star of the Golden Bachelor. But BIP alum Sam Jeffries shared a suggestion on social media.
And after heading to a Cleveland Cavs game, Sam posted a pic of Cavs employee Rhett Wennes. But the caption added to the potential, asking, “Next Golden Bachelor?”
Golden Bachelor Spoilers – Jesse Palmer Teases Spin-Off
Meanwhile, the source reassured fans, “The Golden Bachelor will be returning with a new bachelor.” And for evidence, the insider pointed to what happened after ABC announced season one of the Golden Bachelor in May 2023.
“After more than 20 years of fostering young love on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, The Golden Bachelor showcases a whole new kind of love story — one for the golden years,” stated ABC. And Gerry Turner became a star as the show’s first Golden Bachelor, along with the 22 women chosen as contestants.
Some fans have suggested a spin-off featuring a woman as the Golden Bachelorette. And host Jesse Palmer shared that the decision is beyond his “pay grade.” But he believes the concept seems “great. From Gerry’s season, there are a lot of very good candidates,” added Palmer.
And Jesse pointed out, “Everyone is just trying to digest The Golden Bachelor. But who knows, maybe Golden Paradise at a retirement community in Naples, Florida. I’m all for it.”
