And Theresa soon posted pics with Gerry on her Instagram. Her social media shares come in the wake of the finale’s revelation that Turner and Nist became engaged amid the final rose ceremony in Costa Rica, according to Heavy.
However, Gerry and Theresa also shared that they don’t want to wait too long to move from their current status as an engaged couple to married spouses. As a result, the Golden Bachelor stars will tie the knot in a live televised special on ABC on January 4, 2024. And the two quickly started planning their reality TV wedding day.
In her first post since the finale, Theresa held the golden rose that she received on the finale. And the Golden Bachelor star also proudly flaunted her new engagement ring from Turner. “Truly a dream come true!” gushed Nist in her caption.

However, fans on Reddit expressed mixed reactions. For instance, some pointed out that Turner’s ex girlfriend, who remained anonymous, has claimed that he lied about his background. And Gerry also reportedly dumped her when she gained 10 pounds, sparking a scandal.
As a result, one critic wrote, “A lot of you learned nothing from the anonymous woman situation.” But others wished Theresa well while expressing concerns about Turner.
